Chris Myers

An award-winning garden designer who gained his horticulture qualification at Askham Bryan College, Chris Myers went on to be the Head Gardener on the Duke of Devonshire’s Bolton Abbey 30,000 acre estate. He has since developed and grown his own gardening business, designing and building gardens ever since.

Chris’s extensive knowledge allows him to design and create a wide variety of garden types, from traditional aesthetic to contemporary. His knowledge and talent with garden design has resulted in great success, including winning the Royal Horticultural Society Gold Medal award, and his designs and creations within the world of show gardens has seen him win more than one Best in Show award. This recognition includes being awarded for producing show gardens which most notably reflected the beauty and natural aspects of the Yorkshire Dales.

In preparation for his role as one of the Love Gardening ambassadors, Chris’s role of ambassador for this brand will see him producing regular videos and blogs with the aim of inspiring gardeners and providing the guidance needed to transform their garden.
